Three Day Blinds: A Review

When it comes to the world of blinds, there are around 10 basic styles. Within each of these styles, there is even more variety concerning patterns and colors. With so many choices available, it can be daunting trying to decide exactly which set of blinds will work best for a person's décor, especially if they are new to interior design. Fortunately, with Three Day Blinds, the task of choosing the right blinds may not have to be so taxing.

Online Design

Why? It's because with their unique I-Design system, one can potentially choose the right set of blinds for their room in minutes, since I-Design takes care of the interior design elements.

So, how does a person use I-Design? First, they must access the Three Day Blinds site. Then, they need to select 'I-Design Demo' from the home page. From there they will be asked to choose what type of room they are designing. These choices include: a kid's room, an adult bedroom, a dining room, a living room a kitchen and an office. It is through these choices that I-Design takes the interior decorating work away from a person. The I-Design system will automatically bring up the right set of blinds that, according to interior design experts, match whatever room has been chosen.

Selecting Blinds

After the room has been selected, a person is ready to decide which specific type of blinds they want. They will be presented with the 10 basic styles of blinds which include: wood, faux wood, woven wood, honeycombs, mini blinds, verticals, rollers, roman, shadings/sheers and window murals. If a person doesn't exactly know what these types of blinds look like, they don't need to worry. I-Design will present the blinds to them through their next series of selections. These selections involve choosing a particular brand or style related to the type of blinds desired.

The process is concluded by asking a few questions related to window size and other areas of concern for the setup of blinds. One of these questions involve inputting an accurate set of measurements, so a potential customer should make sure they measure their windows before using I-Design. Anyway, when the questioning is complete, the person will be able to view how their selected blinds will look on a window that fits similar criteria.

The upside to I-Design is that it's easy-to-use and very visual. The service is also completely free. There is no obligation to buy blinds or make any other type of payment if a person uses I-Design. However, I-Design is not perfect.

Possible Problems

Sometimes I-Design will freeze up, especially in the 'Choose a Product' section. And even if I-Design can move past this, it can take forever for the rest of the system to load into the browser. Individuals using a dial-up connection should definitely consider finding a way to use DSL or cable Internet if they want to use this resource. A person using a fast Internet connection may only have to wait a minute or so for each element of I-Design to load, but those on dial-up may have to wait for a much greater amount of time that is just not suitable.

Yet, it should be noted that even with I-Design's bugs, as long as one has the right Internet connection, they should spend no longer than several minutes choosing the perfect set of blinds for their room.

All in all Three Day Blinds needs to perfect their I-Design system to make it more effective for all users at any time. However, the concept behind the program is excellent, and when it does work properly, one will still save quite a bit of time in the process of choosing the right set of blinds for their interior decorating.
